Introduction
This Terms of Service agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you ("you," "your") and Academy For Coaches ("AFC," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing, registering, purchasing from, or participating in any of our Services or Programs, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
We are committed to maintaining clarity, fairness, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions. These Terms are designed to protect you as a participant, and us as a provider of high-integrity educational and business opportunities.
Program Structure & Clarification
1.1 The Academy For Coaches Certified Coach Training
Our ICF Accredited Certified Coach Training is our premier transformational coaching and business-building program. It:
- Provides training in transformational coaching tools and practices
- Includes live calls, mentorship, business systems, and coaching software
- Is designed to help you launch and grow a coaching business using the training, systems, and tools provided. Individual results will vary.
1.2 Professional Software Access
The Certified Coach Training includes access to private-label coaching software. This software is included free with your membership, must be used lawfully and ethically, and may not be resold, redistributed, or rebranded.
1.3 Program Duration
Program durations (whether described as 3-day, 3-month, 12-month, etc.) are approximate timeframes. Advertised durations represent the typical completion timeframe but may vary based on individual progress, scheduling factors, or program updates. Some components (such as mentor coaching) may extend beyond the core program period. Completion of ICF credentialing requirements often extends beyond the formal training period. We commit to delivering all required components, even if scheduling adjustments are necessary.
1.4 Live Training Format & Content Access
All training programs are live, cohort-based experiences. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Your enrolment grants access to live sessions and contemporaneous learning materials for the duration of the active programme only
- Recordings, where made available, are supplementary and not the primary deliverable
- Upon completion, all access to recordings and training materials will be revoked
- You are paying for the live training experience, personal coaching, and facilitated learning — not for permanent access to recorded content
- Continued access beyond the programme period is available exclusively through an active paid membership
1.5 Programme Modifications, Substitutions & Cancellations
Academy For Coaches reserves the right to: reschedule any live session where circumstances require; substitute any facilitator or guest expert with another suitably qualified individual; modify programme content at any time to reflect updates in coaching practice or ICF requirements; and cancel a programme cohort in exceptional circumstances, in which case participants will be offered a transfer to the next available cohort or a credit. Participants acknowledge that minor scheduling or content adjustments are a normal part of programme delivery and do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Account Registration
To access our programs, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining your login confidentiality. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any breach or suspected misuse.
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for or participate in any Academy For Coaches programme or service. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate access without refund if it is determined that a participant is under the age of 18.
Payment & Refund Policy
- Payment plans are legally binding commitments to the full amount due
- Refund requests due to dissatisfaction, life events, or non-participation will not be granted
- Access to materials may be revoked for non-payment or chargebacks
3.1 Payment Plan Default
If you default on payments: the entire remaining balance becomes immediately due and payable; your access to all programs will be suspended; we reserve the right to engage collection services; late fees of 1.5% per month may be applied; and re-enrollment may be prohibited until outstanding balances are settled.
3.2 Discretionary Refund Administration Fee
In exceptional circumstances where a refund is approved entirely at our sole discretion, the following deductions will apply: an administration fee of £250 or 15% of the total amount paid (whichever is greater); any non-recoverable payment processing fees (typically 2–3%); a pro-rata deduction for any sessions or materials already accessed. No refund will be considered where a participant has attended or accessed 50% or more of live training sessions, received any materials or bonuses, or been issued a certificate.
3.3 Waiver of Cancellation Rights
By enrolling and accessing any live session, coaching call, recording, or programme component, you expressly waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or equivalent legislation. This waiver does not affect any rights you may have in relation to services that are faulty or not as described.
3.4 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
You agree to contact Academy For Coaches in writing at contact@academyforcoaches.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, allowing 14 business days for resolution. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. A chargeback fee of £150 will be applied for each disputed transaction regardless of outcome.
Intellectual Property
All program content, frameworks, methodologies, videos, recordings, and resources are the intellectual property of Academy For Coaches and are protected under copyright law. You agree not to copy, share, or distribute training content without permission; use our materials for commercial purposes unless explicitly licensed; or represent AFC content as your own.
Prohibited Use for Coaching Certification or Training Purposes
You may not use, reproduce, adapt, or modify any part of Academy For Coaches' proprietary materials to create your own certification programs, coaching curricula, group trainings, or to train other coaches in any form. Any such use requires prior written approval and a separate licensing agreement.
4.1 Prohibition on Unauthorised Content Sharing
All programme content — including live session recordings, slide decks, frameworks, worksheets, coaching tools, and community posts — is confidential intellectual property. You expressly agree not to screenshot, record, download, share, publish, or distribute any programme content by any means without prior written permission. Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of access without refund and legal action.
Independent Contractor Status
For those participating in any referral program: you are considered an independent contractor, not an employee. You are responsible for your own tax filings, compliance, and reporting. You must clearly disclose your affiliate status in marketing materials. We do not guarantee earnings or success — your results depend on your own efforts. Commission structures may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between you and Academy For Coaches.
Marketing, Ethics & Representation
You agree to make truthful and ethical representations about our programs; never imply guaranteed results or income; disclose your relationship to AFC as an affiliate or student where relevant; and follow all FTC, ICF, and local legal advertising guidelines.
6.1 Testimonials, Case Studies & Results Disclaimer
Any testimonials, case studies, income examples, or success stories: represent individual experiences and results and are not typical, average, or guaranteed outcomes; are shared for illustrative purposes only; and may reflect participants who had prior experience that contributed to their results. Your results will depend entirely on your own effort, commitment, skill, market conditions, and other factors outside our control.
Session Recording & Participation
Live sessions, group coaching, and events may be recorded for educational and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being recorded unless you opt out in writing. Recordings may not be shared externally by participants. By participating in our programs, you grant us permission to use your name, image, voice, and testimonials in our marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
Coaching & Health Disclaimer
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Our programs are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or condition. You are responsible for your own mental, emotional, and physical well-being. You should consult professionals where appropriate.
Community Standards
To maintain a safe and inclusive environment, you agree to respect all participants and instructors; refrain from harassment, abuse, or discrimination; and maintain confidentiality in private communities and coaching calls. Violation of these standards may result in removal from all programs without refund. We reserve the right to deny access to or remove any participant whose conduct is deemed harmful, disruptive, or unethical.
Non-Circumvention
You agree not to circumvent AFC to solicit, contract, or transact with our clients, staff, or partners independently; or use AFC communities or programs for personal recruitment unrelated to AFC-approved initiatives.
Software Usage and Limitation of Liability
You agree to use the software provided only for legal, ethical purposes. We are not liable for any misuse, misrepresentation, or data loss caused by your actions. The software is provided as-is, with no guarantee of compatibility or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law: our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding any claim; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; and we make no guarantees of specific outcomes from use of our Services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Academy For Coaches and its affiliates against any claims, losses, liabilities, or legal costs arising from: your use of our Services; your coaching practice or business conduct; or any breach of this Agreement or related policies.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Dubai. Any dispute will be resolved first through good faith negotiation, then mediation, and finally, if needed, litigation in Dubai courts. Class actions are waived. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for service delays or interruptions due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, internet outages, political unrest, or pandemics.
Entire Agreement & Modifications
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and AFC. We may update this document at any time. Continued use of our Services implies acceptance of any revised terms. You are encouraged to review this document periodically for changes.
Misrepresentation and Malicious Conduct
You agree to communicate in good faith; not submit knowingly false claims to third parties (including the ICF); and resolve issues internally where possible. If AFC determines that you have made malicious or knowingly false claims, your access may be revoked without refund and we may pursue legal remedies or notify appropriate authorities.
Financial Disclaimer
Academy For Coaches makes no guarantees regarding income, success, or specific financial outcomes. While examples of earnings or client success may be shared for illustrative purposes, your results will vary depending on your effort, experience, strategy implementation, and market conditions. Any references to income potential are for educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees.
Data Protection and Privacy
19.1 Data Collection and Use — We collect and process your personal data as necessary to provide our Services. By using our Services, you consent to our collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
19.2 Data Retention — We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
19.3 Data Deletion Requests — We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws, except where we have legitimate grounds to retain information for financial, tax, legal compliance, or ongoing contractual obligations.
19.4 Third-Party Services — Our Services may integrate with third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
19.5 Communications — By using our Services, you consent to receive communications from us. You may opt out of marketing communications, but operational and administrative messages will still be sent.
Non-Disparagement
You agree that during your participation and for 2 years following the conclusion of your enrolment, you will not make, publish, or communicate any false, misleading, defamatory, or disparaging statements about Academy For Coaches, its directors, coaches, staff, affiliates, or other participants. This clause does not prevent you from making honest, good-faith, factual statements about your experience or raising legitimate concerns directly with Academy For Coaches through appropriate channels. Breach of this clause may result in legal action for defamation, breach of contract, or damages.
